Class Announcements Midterm ExamOur Midterm Exam is a fairytale mock trial created by you and your team. You will have the 3 class periods to prepare and rehearse your cases: Monday 1/12-90 minutes, Wednesday 1/14-90 minutes, Friday 1/16-90 minutes. Wednesday, Jan 21 you will spend our exam review class, rehearsing your case. Any additional preparation must be done by your group after school. I strongly suggest you meet with your team after school or over the holiday to prepare and rehearse your case.
Due to time constraints, each team will only have 20 minutes to present their case. Time limits will be strictly enforced. Please see the "Class Files" section for additional information and the grading rubric. Test Ch4 Criminal Law Tues.11/10 & Thurs. 11/12Infamous Criminal ProjectsAre Due on Thursday, November 6. Be prepared to present your "stuff" to the class. Homework: Find a legal novelPlease find a school-appropriate legal novel; one with a court-room/legal plot. A sample listing is provided for you under the homework file below. You must bring your book to class on Monday/Tuesday 10/12 and 10/13 and all future classes.
Please read the first two chapters of your novel and be prepared to discuss and write a reflection on the characters and plot. Test on Ch1 on Wed/Thurs 9/30 & 10/1Please use the class links on the right side of our web page for the Text Book Interactive Review to help you prepare for the test. Binders should go home on Monday and Tuesday so you can review your class notes, vocab. lists and other classwork on this chapter.
